Today on the show I had the pleasure of speaking with Natalie Wynn, a certified Master mindset and manifestation coach who's also an author, speaker, and powerhouse entrepreneur. With over a decade of corporate experience and advanced certifications in NLP, EFT, breathwork and hypnotherapy, Natalie helps ambitious women break out of burnout, rewire their subconscious and turn purpose into profit.
Her book "Manifest Your Limitless Life" offers her proven framework to shift from survival mode into overflow, and it's already changing lives. Natalie's Journey Into Mindset Coaching
When I asked Natalie how she got started doing the work she does, she shared that it's been quite a rollercoaster journey. She's always been very intuitive and had a desire to serve and help people. In fact, she started doing vision board parties before they were popular, hosting them in her home and watching them grow as people started inviting others.
But the real catalyst came during her divorce almost 15 years ago. As she went through that difficult time, she found herself completely down, having lost her identity. Her confidence was shot, she didn't feel worthy, and she wasn't clear on what she wanted. The one thing she knew for certain was that she didn't want to continue living in that up and down rollercoaster cycle.
"Ladies, if you've been through a divorce or had a really bad breakup, you know exactly what I'm talking about," Natalie explained. She knew there had to be something better than just vision boards and scripting. She needed something more permanent, which led her down the path of subconscious reprogramming and understanding NLP (neurolinguistic programming).
Understanding the Science of NLP
Since we talk about EFT tapping often on the show, I was curious to dive deeper into NLP, which many people might associate with Tony Robbins from back in the day. Natalie broke it down beautifully, explaining that NLP work is rooted in neuroscience.
"Whereas sometimes people go, well, some of this stuff is woo woo, you know, vision boards are woo woo, EFT doesn't work. It all works. NLP has the science behind it," she explained. Our brain has neural programs or neural pathways based on behaviors we've been doing over and over for many years, creating set programs and beliefs we've gotten as children from relationships and experiences.
The key question becomes: how do you get unstuck? How do you change your beliefs in a permanent way?
NLP recognizes that the brain speaks its own language. When I tell you to imagine a blue box in your mind, the first thing that pops up isn't the words "blue box" - you actually see the blue box. NLP is the language of the brain, using words, visual imagery, and other techniques to jolt or break your current program and create permanent solutions by forming new neural pathways.
The ATM Method: A Framework for Transformation
One of the things I loved about my conversation with Natalie was learning about her ATM method. When she was thinking about how to change lives, she realized she didn't like how complicated people made things to get to the end goal. She wanted something really simple that people could grasp, hold onto, remember, and repeat if needed.
That's where the ATM method came in - and just like going to an ATM to deposit or withdraw money, this method is about making a deposit into yourself:
A - Awareness
The first thing we all have to do is become aware of what's holding you back. What is it that you want? What's the reason why you don't have it? What are some of the limiting beliefs that are coming up? Get aware.
T - Transformation
Once you are aware of what the issue is and what you want, or you have more clarity, now you can start to develop a program that allows you to transform. Whether that's using NLP, EFT, somatic breathwork, hypnosis, or whatever it is, now you can come up with a plan for transformation.
M - Movement
Finally, there's movement. The thing about movement is that usually people make this their first step. We are such busy doers - we want to do, do, do, do, do. But when we use the A and the T first, we are being and becoming the version of ourselves. Once we've done that, we can start to move in aligned action with the intentions we've set.
As Natalie put it, "It's the hardest work out there. I think that's why we'd rather be just doing instead of dealing with the things within. But the ATM method makes it simple and gives you a guideline to follow so that you can step into your highest self."
The Most Common Limiting Beliefs
We talk about limiting beliefs constantly on this show, so I was particularly interested in what kinds Natalie sees most often with high-achieving women. Her answers were both universal and specific:
"I'm Not Good Enough"
This is probably the most universal limiting belief. What's interesting is that high-achieving women talk all around it, but when you get to the root, it's always "I'm not good enough."
Imposter Syndrome
This shows up as "I'm not who I appear to be" or "I'm not good enough to be that person" or "What are people going to think?" This belief keeps women from taking action because they feel like they're being imposters.
"I Have to Work Twice as Hard"
High-achieving women often believe they have to work twice as hard to get what seems normal for everyone else. This essentially means working themselves to death - the death of their soul, their freedom, their energy, their health - simply because they believe they have to work twice as hard.
As Natalie pointed out, this can keep you in a rat race of lack over and over because you're never giving yourself a break.
Why Women Struggle to Dream
One of the most powerful parts of our conversation was when Natalie shared the first question she typically asks women: "If you knew the answer would be yes, what would you ask for?"
When I heard this, I immediately thought “everything on my vision board!” But Natalie explained that when she asks women "What is it that you want?" the pause, silence, and "ums" are deafening.
She believes this happens because women are such natural nurturers, and we're in a culture where little girls are often taught to give and not receive. Women typically don't put themselves first, especially once they start having families and children. They feel guilty for wanting, guilty for asking, guilty for just being.
Natalie shared an example of a client who, when asked how much she wanted to make in her business, kept saying "I just want for people to be happy." When pressed for a dollar amount, she struggled because she was afraid to fail. If she put it out there and said it out loud, what if she didn't get it? What if it never happened?
Reconnecting with Your Inner Dreamer
In Natalie's vision soirees (her in-person vision board events), she addresses this issue head-on. Before they start creating their boards, she tells everyone:
"You all are little girls. Remember that little girl who used to play and run around and she was a princess and she was a warrior. She was all these things. She was going to be a doctor, she was gonna be all of those things. I want you to put your little girl hat on right now and just play and dream like nothing matters."
This really opens everyone up to start embodying that freedom of dreaming that we lose along the way between the bills and the kids and the career pressures.
As we discussed, even school can crush dreams with the pressure of "what are you gonna do next?" Many of us end up in careers based on someone else's desires rather than our own, having heard things like "Are you sure you want to do that? Are you gonna make money doing that?"
Redefining Abundance Beyond Money
When we shifted to talking about abundance, Natalie's perspective was refreshing. "Abundance is your birthright," she said firmly. "You deserve it. You didn't have to do anything for it. You absolutely deserve abundance."
But for Natalie, abundance isn't just about money. While there's nothing wrong with money, she takes abundance further:
"Abundance is overflow. Abundance is more time, more love, more energy, better health, more freedom. The life that you've always imagined for yourself. That is, to me, abundance wrapped up in a beautiful bow."
She emphasized that abundance is something you decide. You have to know that you deserve it and that it truly is your birthright.
The Scarcity Mindset Trap
One insight that really stood out was when Natalie explained that limiting beliefs about money don't discriminate based on income level. You can be successful on paper - making six or seven figures - and still operate from a lack mindset.
"When you still feel like you are not enough, when you're still working yourself to death and experiencing burnout, not making decisions from an alignment standpoint, not able to say no or not having boundaries, whatever those things may be, you're operating from a lack mindset."
She gave the perfect example: we all probably know that girlfriend who makes a lot of money but is always broke. This often comes back to core beliefs like "I'm just bad with money." But when you dig deeper, you usually find childhood experiences where money was always an issue, or parents always fought about money.
Transforming Mindset From Scarcity to Abundance
As entrepreneurs, we face unique challenges. Unlike corporate jobs with set hours and structures, entrepreneurs have to manage themselves, their schedules, and often wear all the hats. Natalie finds that most entrepreneurs operate from a scarcity mindset without even realizing it.
They might say they're just driven and trying to capitalize on opportunities, but what they don't realize is that they're putting out energy of desperation and scarcity. This energy stems from beliefs that they have to work 24 hours a day to make it happen, that they have to hound people.
The solution? Step back and get to the root cause of what their beliefs are. Work on those beliefs so they can be in alignment with their business and project the right energy. When you're authentic, know who you are, are clear on what you want, and know your purpose, you start attracting clients naturally.
As Natalie explained, "You'll never be short of opportunities. The key is deciding which opportunity is aligned with who you are and what it is you want to do."
The Power of Choice: "Who You Choose to Be"
One of my favorite moments in our conversation was when Natalie addressed the common phrase "That's just how I am" or "It's just who I am." Her response? "That's who you choose to be. At any moment in time you have the option to change. It is completely your choice."
This is such an empowering perspective. While in the past, people might have been told "this is just her personality" or "that's just how she is," today we have access to so much information and so many examples of transformation.
The key question becomes: what are you doing with the information?

You are so gifted and amazing just being who you are, and if you feel like you are not actually living the life that you've always imagined for yourself, you feel like you've been stuck, you feel like you're at a dead end, or that you could have more and you're just not sure how to get it, know that there are so many resources available and that you deserve it. You deserve it so much. And if no one else tells you that you are worthy, I wanna be the one to tell you. You are so worthy. You are so worthy of everything that your heart desires."
